Tomorrow would be the last day of school for me... that is, if I went to school! I'm homeschooled, and have been since fourth grade (I'm in eighth grade now). Homeschooling is really fun, you can learn what you want and when you want, and you get a lot more time on your hands than schooled girls do. Best of all, you can go to the movies and amusement parks when other girls are in school!
There are downsides though, like not getting to see other girls as much, since you're home a lot more. That's been really hard for me, but I sign up for programs like drama club and swim team to see other kids. Other than that, homeschooling is awesome and I'd recommend it to anyone - especially if you're feeling stressed-out a lot with all the homework and stuff. A great book to read if you're unsure about it is The Teenage Liberation Handbook by Grace Llewellyn. Although it's a non-fiction book, she's a really cool writer so it's fun to read.
Homeschooled and schooled girls have one big thing in common, however: we both look forward to summer, school or no school! Everyone have a really great start to summer vacation!!!
