Okay, so it's Friday, and school is probably the last thing you want to be thinking about. But many high school students are busy gearing up for tomorrow's SATs, and I want to know what you think about testing.

What is the history of standardized testing? What is its purpose?
Do you think that standardized tests accomplish what they're intended to? Why or why not?
How about normal classroom tests? What kinds of techniques do you use to be successful on them?
